Katie Trexler McLean is an experienced communications strategist and coach. She
specializes in helping clients land positive news coverage and speak with clarity and confidence, whether they in a high-stakes media interview or presenting in front of an audience.
Katie brings her real-world experience as an Emmy award-winning television
journalist and public relations specialist to Rockford Gray, coaching clients as they navigate the spotlight, gain control over their media interactions and engage with their teams and stakeholders.
Before joining Rockford Gray, Katie helped run a boutique marketing and communications agency supporting high-profile clients in the Rocky Mountain region. Katie has more than 20 years’ experience in communications including her time as a television news reporter and anchor. She worked on-air at stations across the country in California, New Mexico, Michigan, and Colorado.
Katie is also a mom of adult twins and author of her first book. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
