JENNIFER MILLER

Jennifer Miller was that disarming reporter you thought would go easy on you, but instead asked you the one key question you hoped to avoid.  That often meant she was successful at getting sources in her story to say the words they would later regret.  There’s not a mean bone in her body, but that’s how reporters work.  This real-world journalism experience makes Jennifer the ideal media coach and crisis management counselor.  She knows how reporters think and act.

Jennifer joined Rockford Gray with more than 15 years’ experience of news reporting, including seven years at CBS News.  At the network Jennifer covered red carpet events, two Olympics, events at the White House, high-profile court cases, and disasters such as the break-up of Space Shuttle Columbia, the aftermath of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and several natural and human-caused disasters. Throw in some anchoring and producing, and you get a good idea of the experience she brings to Rockford Gray clients.

Jennifer works with all Rockford Gray clients, sharing her understanding of the news media, presentation performance, and crisis management. She is an experienced coach and conference speaker.

Jennifer has a Master’s degree in Professional Studies from the University of Denver, specializing in Organizational Leadership & Public Relations/Marketing. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Professional Journalism and French. In 2020, Jennifer successfully completed the Public Relations Society of America Crisis Communication Certification Program and in 2021 received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of Southern Florida Office of Corporate Training & Professional Education.
