Adrienne Schafer understands that communications no longer happen in neat, controlled environments. Public opinion forms in real time and online, before official statements are even drafted. Organizations are expected to respond with both speed and authenticity. That’s where Adrienne comes in. An experienced digital strategist, Adrienne helps Rockford Gray clients navigate this emerging reality with a strategy grounded in data, audience behavior and human insight.

Adrienne works across nearly all of our client sectors – including government, healthcare, nonprofits, and education – helping organizations connect with audiences in moments that matter most. She specializes in digital strategy, social media strategy, monitoring and crisis communications. Blending analytical thinking with creative execution, Adrienne helps clients take meaningful action, knowing when to engage and when to hold back. She translates complex issues into messaging that feels clear, credible, accessible, and is in tune with online discussion.

Before joining Rockford Gray, Adrienne worked at Twitter, where she partnered with global brands to help them better understand and leverage social data while driving adoption of the platform’s products and tools. That experience continues to shape her approach to communications strategy and her understanding of how online conversations influence reputation, trust, and decision-making.

Adrienne works with clients to develop communication strategies that meet audiences where they are, whether navigating reputation challenges, responding during moments of crisis, or building long-term engagement and trust online.

She earned a master’s degree in e-learning and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys photography, draws inspiration from science, and spends much of her free time growing hundreds of flowers to share in bouquets with others.
